Education - Working experience

  • International teaching experience at multiple levels including Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary levels, with experience in Science, STEM, and homeroom teaching.

My educational philosophy

I believe that students learn best by doing. As John Dewey emphasized, education should be rooted in real-life experiences that allow children to think, explore, and create meaning for themselves. As teachers, it is our role to guide and challenge students to reach their fullest potential, helping them discover that they are capable of more than they imagine.

One interesting fact about me
I am a music lover (even though music doesn’t always love me back! 🎶). I’m also a huge fan of Taylor Swift, and I especially connect with her lyric “Long live all the magic we made,” which reflects my joy in creating meaningful memories with my students. I also love exploring and trying new things.

  • 10 years of teaching experience, and educational management (School Principal) across Early Years, Primary, and Secondary education in Turkey and Vietnam.

My educational philosophy

I teach English as someone who learned it as a second language myself, which means I know firsthand what it feels like to search for the right word, to understand something but not yet be able to say it, and to light up the moment it finally clicks. That experience shapes everything I do in the classroom. I design lessons around Multiple Intelligence Theory because I genuinely believe there is no single "type" of learner. My classrooms run on curiosity, honesty, and the idea that every student's voice deserves to be heard.

One interesting fact about me
When I'm not in the classroom, I'm usually knee-deep in a DIY project. I'm also fascinated by aviation and space science.

My educational philosophy

I believe that English is not only a subject, but a tool for communication, opportunity, and global access. My role as a teacher is to help students build confidence in using language meaningfully, while developing their ability to think critically, express ideas clearly, and engage with the world beyond the classroom. I aim to create structured, engaging, and supportive learning environments where students are encouraged to grow academically and personally, and where language becomes a bridge rather than a barrier.

One interesting fact about me
I come from a bilingual background, growing up speaking Russian and Tatar - a language spoken by only ~5–6 million people worldwide (~0.05% of the global population). This shaped my early awareness of how language connects identity, culture, and opportunity.
