My educational philosophy
For me, every child is born a genius, with limitless potential. However, as they grow, not every child will become an outstanding individual. This means that when potential is not nurtured and developed early on, it will certainly not flourish. At this point, the role of fathers, mothers, teachers, and the community is to awaken the genius within the child. The most effective method of educating children comes from love. The love of parents, teachers, and the community plays an important role in awakening their talents, creating the "wings" for the child."
One interesting fact about me
I am also a three-time winner of the Movember contest from 2015 to 2017 at BCIS. Movember, a portmanteau of "Moustache" and "November," is an event related to the growth of mustaches and takes place in November to raise awareness about prostate cancer and other male cancer initiatives.

My educational philosophy
I firmly believe every student posesses unique talents and education should help them explore and grow these abilities. Education is not just about memorizing facts, it's about training the mind to think critically and creatively. Learning should be driven by motivation, curiosity, creativity and perseverance. As Albert Einstein said, "It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer." This means persistence is key. Whether in school, personal life or work, solving problems takes more than a quick effort. By being curious, researching, trying different strategies, asking questions and working with others, anyone can find solutions to even the toughest problems.

Education should not only foster academic excellence but also cultivate emotional intelligence, creativity, endeavor, and resilience. By supporting students in all aspects of their journey, we set them up for success both in school and in life.

My educational philosophy
With six years of experience working in the Canadian International School System and the past two years at CIS Lao Cai — the first international school in Northwest Vietnam — I have embarked on a journey of stepping beyond my comfort zone, creating new opportunities for students in the country’s frontier regions. Visiting mountain villages and implementing educational projects for disadvantaged children has strengthened my belief in high-quality education for all. Every child deserves the chance to try, to explore, and to shape their own future.
One interesting fact about me
My journey into education has been an adventure filled with emotions and countless challenges. As a student, I wasn’t the “typical” good student; I was curious and loved testing boundaries. Thanks to the guidance of my teachers, that curiosity transformed into a drive to conquer knowledge — from winning the Ho Chi Minh City Middle School Excellent student contest to earning a National Third Prize in High school Excellent Student contest. That passion led me to become a teacher and later an educational leader, carrying the belief that education is not just about delivering knowledge but about igniting curiosity, resilience, and the drive to live a meaningful life.
