My educational philosophy
My teaching philosophy is rooted in adaptable pedagogical practices, strong communication skills (including social and emotional learning), and formative assessment. I believe that every student learns differently, and as an educator, it's essential to tailor teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs. Flexibility is key, whether it involves adjusting lesson plans on the fly or incorporating various instructional techniques to engage students effectively. Clear and open communication is fundamental to fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing their ideas and asking questions. By actively listening and providing constructive feedback, I aim to empower students to take ownership of their learning journey. Formative assessment plays a crucial role in this process, as it allows me to continually monitor student progress and adapt instruction accordingly. Through these principles, I strive to cultivate a dynamic and inclusive classroom where students are inspired to explore, collaborate, and thrive.
